Green Pineapple Healing Smoothie

Updated: Oct 26, 2023

When you are healing the body, it is good to remember that most green foods will certainly support an alkaline pH level. The more acid the body, the more you will be struggling with a disease or pre-disease. There is a reason why our mothers told us to always eat our greens—they keep us in good health. I assure you; this recipe offers all the benefits of greens without the strong green taste.

In our smoothie we are going to use a superfood called Organic Green Magma. I have personally used this product for my own health when I was not feeling well—out-of-sorts. I immediately started feeling better after the first glass. Green Magma is raw barley grass juice powder. If you have fresh barley grass then drink it full strength as a shot. The powder is better for smoothies or diluted in a glass of water. Drink it first thing in the morning and you will support your health all day long. It contains Chlorophyll which gently cleanse the body, balance pH levels, promote good digestion and fights free radicals. It is an active enzyme which promotes energy and healthy metabolism. Green Magma is an antioxidant and powerfully supports the immune system, healthy aging, and cardiovascular function.

The recipe below yields serving for two people. It is a hardy smoothie and one that I serve at my detoxing events. If you are not sure about pineapple, give it a try and if it is not a favorite fruit then next time exchange it out for another—maybe mango.

Prep: The day before making the smoothie, cut a ¼ of a fresh organic pineapple, core and skin are removed. Place the small, chopped pieces of pineapple into a freezer bag and freeze for 24 hours.

Ingredients:

1 tsp Green Magma

1 small cucumber roughly chopped.

¼ frozen pineapple cubes

Juice of ½ lime

1 handful of spinach leaves

¼ cup of coconut water

½ ripe avocado

Place the liquid into the blender first followed by all the remaining items. Garnish with sprinkles of nutmeg. Optional: 2 Medjool Dates (dates are a wonderful anti-parasitic and a healthy natural sweetener.)

Other green foods to consider for your future smoothies:

Parsley

Kale

Broccoli stems

Romain lettuce

Green apple

Celery stalks

Wheat Grass—is a powerful cleanse and detoxifier all on it own. It oxygenated the rebuild the blood. Reduces blood pressure, boost immunity, anti-clotting properties, highly alkalizing and balances the pH levels and regulates blood sugar levels.

Think Green and stay healthy.
